China’s Belt & Road Initiative

China’s Belt and Road Initiative is a colossal infrastructure investment aiming to promote international co-operation, which may boost trade and growth for economies in Asia and further afield.  Begun in 2013 by President Xi Jinping, nearly 70 countries across Asia, Europe and Africa (more than two-thirds of the world’s population) have seen infrastructure developments and investments.
