Here’s my beef!

Here’s my beef! Avoiding heavy CAPEX
How can fleets can electrify with more flexibility, lower risk, and stronger long-term economics? Can road freight electrification scale without locking fleets into massive upfront investments?
For many operators, the challenge is no longer whether electrification is coming but how to transition without taking on disproportionate financial and operational risk. Charging infrastructure, grid constraints, uncertain residual values, and fast-moving technology cycles are making traditional ownership models increasingly difficult to justify.
Companies across the ecosystem are reducing capital intensity through smarter planning, flexible financing, operational optimization, and new infrastructure models: rather than asking fleets to make irreversible bets, innovators’ solutions focus on improving utilisation, sharing risk, and turning electrification into a more scalable operational transition. We interview four companies to find out what they offer and how it works.
