HOW, not Why

Can leaders work together and better to accelerate decarbonisation in freight & logistics?  Progress can be difficult to scale and freight logistics faces headwinds in a critical environment.  But despite – or perhaps because of – current challenges, commercial and competitive opportunities are everywhere.  Objective: to bring a deliberately diverse mix of key stakeholders in the freight logistic sector together  for collaborative dialogue to (1) learn from each other, (2) experience, discuss & debate if we can help each other move forward.

Information you can trust.  F&L is independent, does not seek commercial gain, and has a wide network of international senior business leaders from 20+ countries who come together within the competition laws to learn, inform, challenge and collaborate for mutual benefit.

  • Meeting date: 26 – 27 June 2025 (lunch – lunch)
  • Location: Zurich, Switzerland for interesting work, key stakeholders & ease of travel.
  • Cost: zero.  Capacity: 26 June: spaces.  27 June: full (please get in touch).
  • Who should attend: a deliberately diverse mix of key stakeholders in the freight logistic sector includes commercial leaders, academics, entrepreneurs, shippers, LSPs, those with a responsibility for freight logistics in Europe or across the world, those with a direct responsibility for or interest in the environment.
  • What to expect: collaborative, constructive open discussions to learn from each other and expand our perspectives.  No sales pitches.  Supporting you to push decarbonisation forward in your own business.

Climeworks is a leading high-quality carbon removal provider, combining decades of expertise in Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology with holistic carbon removal solutions. The company runs the world’s first two DAC plants in Iceland, has raised over $800m in capital and employs 500 people.  The company is on a journey to impact climate at scale.  To truly enable global net zero – along with reducing/removing emissions – we also need carbon dioxide removal such as direct air capture and storage (DAC+S), to neutralize our unavoidable and historic emissions. Critically, we need to remove billions of tons of CO₂ from the air by 2100 to keep global warming in check.
EY supports its clients’ sustainability journeys, collaborating on strategies and solutions that accelerate action, scale innovation and drive meaningful impact. With a full spectrum of sustainability services: anchored in science, enabled by tech and data, they help their clients build the confidence to act.
